Celia Litman and Mark Leland, the country singer, supporting the Autism Speaks Walk.

Celia Litman, BCEA is a board certified education advocate through the National Special Education Advocacy Institute and the National Center For Autism Resources and Education. She is an Autism Consultant who specializes in the realm of Early Intervention (EI), and she has personally traveled the roads of Autism with her sons into adulthood!

Celia was the President and Co-Founder of CMK Development Inc., currently known now as Creating More Knowledge, which still provides customized social skill books and a Medical and Educational (ME) organizational binder that has you ready at a moment’s notice!  Celia was the founder of Autism Resource Connection (ARC) which continues to provide advocacy services to parents of children with learning differences through Litman Law Office.

Celia is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNC-G) with a BA in Communications, as well as a well traveled business woman who worked for Fortune 500 companies prior to starting her own businesses. She is able to take her vast educational and work experience and transfer the complex information in special education down to practical terms for the parents of children with Autism.

Celia is child focused and committed to understanding the multiple facets for the needs of children with Autism; she attends many seminars and conferences to keep up to date on the latest information.

As the mother of two sons with Autism and with so many of the other associated diagnosis’s that complicate Autism, Celia is able to take her sense of commitment and knowledge she gained navigating through the special education systems, and use that to teach parents to advocate for their child and to think outside the box!
